Job summary

United Methodist Communities is seeking a Maintenance Associate II at The Shores in Ocean City, NJ. The role offers $17.49 - $18.65 per hour, full-time, with a 9am-5pm or 11am-7pm shift and weekend/holiday rotation.

You’ll perform general maintenance, track work orders, and help ensure a safe environment for residents and staff. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 2+ years of experience in carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance, including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and repair projects.
• Respond to and complete maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Support preventative maintenance programs to help ensure equipment and building systems remain in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection logs, and preventative maintenance documentation.
• Assist with ordering, organizing, and managing maintenance tools, supplies, and materials.
• Update and close work orders in the maintenance management system, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.
• Help maintain a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for residents, visitors, and team members.
