Join Our Team as a Facilities Maintenance Technician at Acquire4Hire

We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Technician to support Seeds of Excellence Christian Academy. This role involves maintaining the school's building and grounds, performing preventative maintenance, and assisting with landscaping.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Facilities Manager to maintain the campus, including early learning and preparatory academies.
• Perform skilled maintenance tasks such as plumbing, HVAC, drywall repair, electrical troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of the facilities, including playground equipment and outdoor windows.
• Assist with classroom repairs, event setups, and ensuring entryways and parking lots are debris-free.
• Participate in safety inspections and adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Attend staff meetings and be flexible to handle emergencies and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Preferred college or trade school degree.
• Must pass a background check with DECAL.
• At least 2 years of facilities management experience.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.
• Ability to lift and move furniture, boxes, and equipment.
