Job Overview

Description

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The Facilities Maintenance Technician supports the Facilities Manager with general maintenance, safety compliance, and vendor management across all UD locations. Participates in facility projects for current and new practice initiatives.

REPORTS TO: Facilities Manager

Responsibilities

• Complete building maintenance requests via the UD Service Desk for clinical offices and surgery centers.
• Process furniture repair and replacement requests.
• Assist interdepartmental teams to complete projects on time, within budget, and to specifications.
• Maintain documentation for building safety compliance with authorities.
• Update reports on preventative maintenance and equipment lifecycle.
• Support construction buildouts and location moves with documentation and tracking.
• Review contractor work and verify invoices.
• Support service contracts and maintain the Capex report.
• Coordinate communication with property owners and management.
• Assist with after-hours facility tasks as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of related experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
