Job summary

Mark-Taylor is seeking an Associate Director of Facilities at our corporate office in Scottsdale, AZ. You will provide expert facilities guidance and lead capital projects across a portfolio of properties, driving operational excellence and safety.

You will manage teams and vendors, develop budgets, and partner with operations and human resources to deliver high-performance results. This role offers growth in a top-tier multifamily organization with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in multi-site facilities management.
• Proven track record of hiring and promoting staff.
• Experience leading large capital projects and build-outs.
• Vendor negotiation and contract management experience.
• Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
• PA certification and CPO certifications required or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hiring.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hands-on maintenance and capital projects across properties.
• Lead large teams and vendors, ensuring on-time delivery.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and NFPA codes.
• Collaborate with Operations, HR and Finance on budgets.
• Report maintenance metrics and capital plans to leadership.
