Job summary

Mark-Taylor, based in Scottsdale, AZ, is seeking an Associate Managing Director (Regional Manager) to oversee a portfolio of properties and drive financial and operational performance.

You will lead Community Managers, deliver data‑driven decisions, and ensure accountability and management quality across the portfolio.

Collaborating with the Managing Director, HR, Training, Talent Acquisition and other teams, you will develop talent and strengthen client partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of property management experience.
• 3 years+ of leadership experience with measurable results.
• Active Arizona Real Estate Salesperson License required.
• Ability to travel throughout the Phoenix Valley.
• Strong mastery of Excel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial and operational reviews to align properties with client goals.
• Lead Community Managers with data-driven decision making.
• Create accountability and quality across the portfolio's people and operations.
• Partner with the Managing Director to report on operations and finances.
• Foster a high-performance culture to boost productivity and retention.
• Collaborate with HR, Training, Talent Acquisition and others to ensure operational excellence.
• Coach and develop Community Managers for ongoing growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
• 5 years+ of property management is required
• 3 years+ of leadership experience, demonstrating both measurable financial results, as well as growth and development of team members is required
• Active Arizona Real Estate Salesperson License required
• Ability to travel throughout the Phoenix Valley
• Strong mastery of Excel

In This Role You Will

• Conduct financial and operational reviews to ensure their properties are aligned with the client’s goals and objectives
• Lead CommunityManagersto demonstrate sound and proactive decision-making that is data-driven and founded in strong logic
• Create an exceptional level of accountability andmanagement quality and consistency from a people, operations, and financial perspective at each communitywithin your portfolio
• Partner with the Managing Director to effectively and proactively communicate with Mark-Taylor’s clients on operational and financial reporting matters
• Lead a high-performance work environment that boosts morale, increases productivity and retention, provides career development opportunities, and delivers optimal results
• Use operational expertise to collaborate with internal partners including Human Resources, Training and Development, Talent Acquisition and other departments to ensure excellence in operational effectiveness and the Mark-Taylor brand
• Coach and develop Community Managers within your portfolio, preparing them for continued career growth at Mark-Taylor
