Job summary

Phoenix Rescue Mission is seeking a facilities leader to oversee maintenance across multiple locations, prioritizing preventive work and safety. The role requires managing budgets, vendors, and capital projects while guiding a team with a Christ-centered ethos.

You will coordinate maintenance with program operations, drive asset management, and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of progressive experience in facilities or related field.
• Minimum three years supervising maintenance or facilities personnel.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination considered.
• Experience managing multiple facilities, budgets, vendors, and capital projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of facility operations, systems, preventive maintenance, and vehicle maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the facilities maintenance team with clear priorities and accountability.
• Direct the facilities program across multiple locations including preventive maintenance and emergency response.
• Monitor buildings, grounds, vehicles, equipment, and systems to identify risks and prioritize needs.
• Establish maintenance histories, asset tracking, and inventory systems.
• Plan and oversee facility improvements, repairs, and capital projects.
• Coordinate vendors and contractors, ensuring quality, timeliness, and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
• Manage facilities-related expenditures and asset replacement plans within approved budgets.
• Collaborate with Center Directors to assess needs and coordinate with program operations.
• Lead with Christ-centered character and servant leadership.
