Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking an experienced Facility Manager to oversee operations, maintenance, safety, and vendor performance for a permanent role in Paris, TX. You will manage site performance and drive continuous improvements.

Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance via CMMS, leading teams and subcontractors, and delivering audits and RCA-driven action plans while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7–10 years of facilities management and team leadership experience.
• OSHA 10-hour and/or 30-hour card required.
• Strong MS Office skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Experience with CMMS and enterprise software.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate facility maintenance activities through a CMMS.
• Lead maintenance teams and subcontractors to ensure safe, timely, and quality execution.
• Monitor and drive KPI, SLA, safety, operational, and financial performance.
• Facilitate daily maintenance planning, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
• Manage emergency calls, breakdowns, and time-critical repairs.
• Conduct work order audits and ensure documentation for customer audits.
• Build relationships with client contacts and participate in customer meetings.
• Develop action plans and RCA to address operational issues.
• Manage vendors, subcontractor performance, and on-site safety compliance.
• Support small projects, proposals, scopes of work, and project execution.
• Evaluate buildings, equipment, assets, and processes for compliance; prepare site performance presentations.
