Job summary

Kelly Science, Engineering, Technology & Telecom is seeking a hands-on Facilities Manager to own day-to-day operations across three buildings. This onsite role opens the facilities each morning, identifies issues, and establishes scalable processes to grow with the organization.

The successful candidate will bring strong facilities and EHS knowledge, sound judgment, and the initiative to lead the function over time, with company-specific procedures taught.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management, building operations, site services, or related field.
• Working knowledge of workplace safety, EHS practices, hazard identification, and incident follow-up.
• Ability to manage facilities across multiple buildings and balance planned work with urgent issues.
• Comfort with hands-on walkthroughs and onsite work five days per week.
• Strong organizational skills, follow-through, communication, and independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Be onsite five days per week and serve as primary facilities contact for three buildings.
• Open buildings between 7:00 and 8:00 a.m. and perform early-morning walkthroughs.
• Inspect for leaks, damage, equipment concerns, security issues; escalate and coordinate corrective action.
• Manage routine facilities activities: upkeep, maintenance coordination, repairs, vendors, access, site readiness.
• Support a safe, clean, compliant, productive environment for employees and visitors.
• Apply safety and EHS knowledge to identify hazards and support corrective actions.
• Create and improve checklists, schedules, preventive maintenance routines, and processes.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and outside service providers to resolve issues.
• Take ownership of an open facilities budget and prioritize needs.
