Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to maintain manufacturing site facilities and address internal customer needs, coordinating repairs and contractor work. You will review PMs in the CMMS, lead capital projects, and manage on-site contractors to ensure safety and reliability of building systems.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a technical mindset, and 3+ years in facilities with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical degree preferred.
• Three (3) plus years of Facilities experience required.
• Three (3) plus years of leadership of projects or people.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and building maintenance experience required.
• Ability to read building prints and electrical schematics.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to multitask and manage several projects.
• Willingness to adapt in a changing environment.
• Teamwork oriented.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots building systems and repairs.
• Determines root cause of failures and leads preventive actions.
• Interacts with employees at all levels in the organization.
• Reviews, schedules, and leads PMs from CMMS for contractor work.
• Communicates updates to internal customers.
• Develops capital project justifications for building systems and equipment.
• Reviews contractor quotes and awards bids.
• Develop S.O.W for jobs and coordinates contractor expectations.
• Coordinates and tracks projects from award to last invoice.
• Oversees on-site contractors including security and housekeeping.
• Responsible for overall building infrastructure, health and condition.
• Reads building prints and understands plant systems.
