Job summary

Trane Technologies is hiring an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead site EHS and maintenance, ensuring regulatory compliance and reliable operations. You will drive safety culture, capital projects, and continuous improvement across manufacturing and distribution facilities.

You will develop and oversee EHS programs, incident investigations, risk assessments, and maintenance strategies, partnering with leadership to reduce risk and optimize operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Studies, Occupational Health & Safety, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant EHS and maintenance experience required; broader facilities leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Willingness to support off-hours, weekends, or emergency situations as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Lead and improve site EHS and maintenance performance to promote an incident-free workplace and safe work behaviors.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations and ISO standards.
• Develop, implement, and sustain EHS management systems, procedures, and training programs.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; identify root causes; implement corrective actions.
• Oversee maintenance planning, preventive maintenance schedules, equipment repairs, and long-term asset reliability.
• Manage budgets, contractors, capital projects, and cost improvements.
• Provide leadership to drive safety culture, engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.
