Fairmont Chicago, Millennium Park is seeking a seasoned housekeeping leader to oversee Public Areas, overnight staff, and project-cleaning initiatives within a luxury hotel setting.

You will coordinate with Engineering and vendors, uphold safety standards, and ensure guest-ready spaces while embodying Fairmont values of respect, excellence, and belonging. 3–5 years in hotel housekeeping leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of leadership experience in hotel housekeeping, public-area operations, facilities coordination, or a related field.
• Experience supervising public-area, overnight, project-cleaning, or housekeeping support teams.
• Working knowledge of housekeeping equipment, preventive maintenance, project cleaning, workplace safety, and asset controls.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, follow open items through completion, and communicate effectively with Engineering, vendors, employees, and hotel leadership.
• Strong inspection, documentation, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience developing operating or capital recommendations preferred.
• Experience working in a union hotel environment preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct inspections of guestrooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces; track findings and trends.
• Oversee housekeeping equipment and asset inventories; coordinate preventive maintenance.
• Lead and schedule Public Area Attendants, Overnight Cleaners, and Housepersons.
• Coordinate cleaning plans, checklists, and quality standards; verify completion.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, Purchasing, and F&B on projects and repairs.
• Review vendor proposals; document service records, warranties, and costs.
