Job summary

FirstService Residential in Miami, FL is seeking a Housekeeper/Janitor to perform a range of cleaning and maintenance tasks across indoor and outdoor environments. You will inspect work, report to the Supervisor, and ensure proper safety and security measures while delivering friendly, professional service.

The role requires the ability to lift 50 lbs, navigate diverse spaces, and use new equipment safely. Schedule is Sunday to Thursday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with full-time benefits including

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning/maintenance duties as assigned (sweeping, mopping, dusting, window cleaning).
• Inform Supervisor of needed supplies.
• Maintain cleaning solutions per OSHA hazardous chemicals guidelines.
• Remove trash and assist in emergency cleaning as needed.
• Utilize new equipment safely and follow procedures.
• Maintain a friendly, professional attitude and stock levels of cleaning supplies.
• Inspect areas daily and report discrepancies to Supervisor.
• Adhere to security procedures at all times and follow safety precautions.
