Job summary

FirstService Residential in West Palm Beach is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to perform cleaning tasks across indoor and exterior areas, following safety rules and maintaining sanitation.

You will inspect work, report discrepancies to the Supervisor, replenish supplies, and support a variety of buildings within our community on a full-time schedule with comprehensive benefits.

This role may require lifting, standing for long periods, and occasional travel for training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of cleaning/maintenance duties including sweeping, mopping, shampooing, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, and window cleaning.
• Informs Supervisor of needed supplies.
• Maintains cleaning solutions per OSHA requirements for hazardous chemicals.
• Removes trash and assists in emergency cleaning.
• Uses new equipment safely and follows safety procedures.
• Maintains a friendly and professional attitude.
• Maintains appropriate level of sanitary and cleaning supplies for assigned areas.
• Inspects all assigned areas daily and reports discrepancies to Supervisor.
• Ensures security procedures are adhered to at all times.
• Completes daily work orders as scheduled.
• Cleans restrooms as applicable: floors, dispensers, toilets, sinks, mirrors, and counters.
