Job summary

FirstService Residential in Miami Beach is seeking a Housekeeper/Janitor to perform cleaning and maintenance across interior and exterior areas. You will inspect work, report to the Supervisor, and ensure safety and sanitation standards are met daily.

The role requires ability to lift 50 lbs, work in various conditions, and maintain supplies. Schedule is Sunday–Tuesday and Friday 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, with comprehensive full-time benefits and a $18.54 hourly rate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning/maintenance duties (sweeping, mopping, shampooing, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, window cleaning).
• Informs Supervisor of needed supplies.
• Maintains cleaning solutions per OSHA requirements for hazardous chemicals.
• Removes trash and assists in emergency cleaning.
• Operates new equipment safely following procedures.
• Maintains friendly and professional attitude.
• Ensures proper level of sanitary supplies for assigned areas.
• Inspects areas daily and reports discrepancies to Supervisor.
• Follows security and safety procedures at all times.
• Completes daily work orders as scheduled.
• Cleans restrooms as applicable (toilets, sinks, dispensers).
