Job summary

FirstService Residential in Florida is seeking a Housekeeper/Janitor to maintain interior and exterior areas as assigned. The role involves cleaning, reporting needs to Supervisor, and adhering to safety procedures.

As a full-time associate, you will perform varied cleaning tasks, manage supplies, and ensure a sanitary environment for residents. The position requires reliability, good customer service, and the ability to work Monday through Friday 7:30am–4:00pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning/maintenance duties including sweeping, mopping, shampooing, dusting, trash disposal, and window cleaning.
• Informs Supervisor of needed supplies.
• Maintains cleaning solutions per OSHA requirements.
• Removes trash and assists in emergency cleaning.
• Operates new equipment safely and follows procedures.
• Maintains sanitary supplies and reports discrepancies.
• Inspects areas daily and reports maintenance discrepancies to Supervisor.
• Ensures security procedures are followed and safety precautions are observed.
• Completes daily work orders and keeps equipment in good condition.
• Cleans restrooms and refills dispensers as needed.
