Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services seeks a Facilities Helper to support the day-to-day operation, cleanliness, safety, and basic maintenance of a machine shop and surrounding facility.

The role performs general labor and facility-support duties including housekeeping, material handling, waste removal, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment; the ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and comfortable around machinery and tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in a machine shop, manufacturing, warehouse, maintenance, or industrial environment is preferred but not required.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with common hand tools.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and workplace safety.
• Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to learn new tools, equipment, and procedures.

The Facilities Helper supports the day-to-day operation, cleanliness, safety, and basic maintenance of a machine shop and surrounding facility. This position performs a variety of general labor and facility-support duties, including housekeeping, material handling, basic maintenance assistance, waste removal, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working around machinery, tools, and industrial equipment.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in a machine shop, manufacturing, warehouse, maintenance, or industrial environment is preferred but not required.
