Responsibilities

  • Follow production schedules and established operating procedures.
  • Monitor equipment and make adjustments as needed.
  • Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Identify and report equipment malfunctions or production issues.
  • Complete production records and quality documentation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
  • Follow safety policies, GMPs, and food-safety procedures.
  • Work with Production, Quality, Warehouse, and Maintenance teams.
  • Assist with changeovers, cleaning, and line setup as needed.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join a growing food and beverage manufacturing team in the Kent area. This is a hands‑on production role for someone who enjoys working with equipment, takes pride in producing a quality product, and understands the importance of safety and consistency in a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating production or packaging equipment and be comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment where meeting production schedules and maintaining quality standards are essential.

What You’ll Do
  • Set up, operate, and monitor production and packaging machinery
  • Follow production schedules and established operating procedures
  • Monitor equipment throughout the production process and make adjustments as needed
  • Inspect products to ensure they meet established quality standards
  • Identify and report equipment malfunctions or production issues
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and communicate maintenance needs
  • Complete production records, quality documentation, and other required paperwork
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area
  • Follow all company safety policies, GMPs, and food‑safety procedures
  • Work closely with Production, Quality, Warehouse, and Maintenance teams
  • Assist with changeovers, cleaning, and line setup as needed
  • Meet established production, safety, quality, and efficiency goals
What We’re Looking For
  • 1+ year of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing, food production, packaging, or industrial environment
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new equipment
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and production specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Ability to identify equipment or production problems and communicate them effectively
  • Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
  • Reliable attendance and dependable work history
  • Previous food or beverage manufacturing experience is a plus
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to frequently bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise, and production equipment
  • Ability to wear required PPE and follow food‑safety and sanitation requirements
