Job summary

Navy Region Southeast Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) is seeking a facilities and grounds helper to perform a variety of tasks in the Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) program. Duties include grounds maintenance, equipment handling, and setup/teardown of rental gear and inflatable equipment, with attention to safety and quality.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to operate tools and vehicles, and compliance with government rules.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and move objects weighing over 70lbs.
• Must be able to work indoor and outdoor.
• Must obtain within first 90 days: First Aid, CPR, Forklift Operator, SIOTO certifications.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads materials manually or with equipment.
• Operates power equipment (mowers, clippers, etc.).
• Uses hand tools to maintain facilities and grounds.
• Delivers, sets up and inspects inflatable equipment.
