Job summary

Navy Region Mid-Atlantic Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) seeks a skilled laborer to support the Community Recreation Division within CNIC. The role involves heavy labor, tool operation, and driving equipment across facilities, parks, and rental sites.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, maintenance of tools and grounds, setup/teardown of inflatable bounce equipment, and ensuring safety and cleanliness of recreation spaces and gear.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safe operating techniques for large equipment and power tools.
• Ability to operate riding mowers on slopes with constant attention to space and environment.
• Ability to work around buildings, trees, banks and hillsides.
• Ability to follow detailed processes and sequences in completing tasks.
• Ability to read simple drawings or instructions to perform tasks.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads materials from ground, pallets, skids, and transport vehicles.
• Operates power equipment such as mowers, blowers, power washers and trucks with lift gates.
• Uses hand tools to maintain facilities and grounds.
• Moves and organizes equipment, supplies, and materials by hand or mechanically.
• Cleans and maintains park spaces, rental equipment, and vehicles.
