Navy Region Southeast Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) seeks a Recreation Support role to assist in delivering MWR programs and Liberty activities. Responsibilities include guiding patrons, processing registrations, managing equipment check-out and inventory, and aiding in special events planning and execution.

Qualifications

• Six months general experience and six months specialized experience in customer service or recreation.
• Ability to organize and administer special events and entertainment activities.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of leisure activities and recreation programs.
• Familiarity with Navy MWR mission and community recreation activities.
• Proficient with computers and office procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and information for Community Recreation programs and activities.
• Handle ticket sales, retail and rentals using POS and computer programs.
• Maintain daily sales records and complete a Daily Activity Report.
• Assist with event registrations and facility check-in/out and inventory.
• Coordinate planning and execution of MWR programs and special events.
