Job summary

MTM Transit in Austin, TX is seeking a Facilities Foreman to plan, supervise, and maintain buildings, grounds and equipment. The role includes supervising staff, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring safe, efficient operations. Pay rate is $38.66/hr with a 9:00am–5:30pm, Mon–Fri schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of Facility Management experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance and repairs of buildings, grounds and equipment.
• Supervise staff who install, inspect and repair building systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, safety).
• Keep Fleet/Facilities Manager updated on activities.
• Maintain a safe and productive work environment.
• Coordinate with third‑party vendors for maintenance and services.
• Track repairs, projects, and supplies; ensure timely completion.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet company goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
