Job summary

MTM Transit is seeking a Facilities Foreman to plan, schedule, supervise, and maintain buildings, grounds, and equipment at our Austin, TX office. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 3-5 years in facility management, with a valid driver's license.

You will lead teams, manage vendor relations, and ensure safety and efficiency on site. The position offers a structured daytime schedule with pay rate $38.66/hr, and the opportunity to contribute to community-focused transit services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with 3-5 years of Facility Management experience.
• Ability to diagnose, repair and maintain building systems and shop equipment.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, oversee and perform day-to-day maintenance and repairs of buildings, grounds and equipment.
• Supervise staff who install, inspect, repair, and maintain building systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, safety, and hydraulic systems.
• Keep Fleet and Facilities Manager updated on all pertinent activities.
• Maintain a safe and effective working environment.
• Coordinate with 3rd party vendors for facilities maintenance and services.
• Track and report repairs, projects, equipment, and work orders to ensure timely completion.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet company goals and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
