ABM is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day operation and repair of building systems within a large Austin facility. The role covers routine service requests, preventive maintenance, and involvement in facility projects to keep systems safe and functional.

The technician will provide daily maintenance support across departments, coordinate with external contractors, and contribute to a comprehensive facilities program, with pay at $22 per hour.

Job description

The Facility Maintenance Technician supports the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and repair of building systems and facility infrastructure within a 244,000-square-foot Class A office and manufacturing facility in Austin, Texas. This position performs a range of maintenance activities, from routine service requests and minor repairs to supporting more complex facility projects.

The technician provides daily technical and maintenance support to multiple departments, troubleshoots facility-related issues, performs preventive maintenance, and helps ensure building systems and equipment remain safe and operational. The role also coordinates with vendors and external contractors by scheduling, escorting, and supporting on-site inspections, repairs, and other facility services.

Pay:$22
