Job summary

Tulsa City-County Library is seeking a full-time Facilities & Fleet Technician to maintain library properties and assist in scheduling and maintenance of the fleet vehicles. The role involves hands-on maintenance and travel to library locations across Tulsa County.

We offer a 40-hour work week with potential overtime, a preferred 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. schedule, competitive benefits, and paid continuing education to learn new skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Oklahoma Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
• Able to lift up to 80 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain library facilities including HVAC, roofing, plumbing, sheet-rocking, minor electrical, and concrete work as directed.
• Travel to TCCL locations to perform repairs and general maintenance.
• Oversee vehicle fleet maintenance and liaise with dealerships for repairs (approx 10 hrs/week).
• Use computer-based work order and fleet systems and Outlook.
• Provide support for events and set up equipment as directed by Facilities Manager.
• Safety-sensitive tasks include operation of vehicles, forklift, and power tools.
