Job summary

Atwork in Tulsa, Oklahoma is seeking a Maintenance and Fleet Technician for a full-time role. You will manage facility and fleet maintenance, update work orders, inspect facilities and vehicles, and coordinate repairs.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, is willing to pursue a Class B CDL with air brake endorsement (company will pay), and can troubleshoot electrical and plumbing issues as well as fleet repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (minimum).
• Willingness to pursue Class B CDL with air brake endorsement (company pays).
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, or general building maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair fleet vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Manage and update work orders for facility maintenance requests.
• Inspect facilities, grounds, and parking areas and report deficiencies.
• Inspect and replace damaged ceiling tiles; repair light fixtures and basic electrical issues.
• Perform basic plumbing repairs (sinks, toilets, drains).
• Conduct basic roof inspections as needed.
• Perform and coordinate maintenance for the organization’s fleet.
• Track vehicle repairs and maintain service records.

Education

What You Will Do

Facility Maintenance

• Manage and update work orders for facility maintenance requests.
• Inspect facilities, grounds, and parking areas and report deficiencies.
• Inspect and replace damaged ceiling tiles as needed.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair light fixtures and basic electrical issues.
• Perform basic plumbing repairs involving sinks, toilets, and drains.
• Conduct basic roof inspections as needed.

Fleet Maintenance

• Perform and coordinate maintenance for the organization' s fleet.
• Track pending and completed vehicle repairs and maintaining accurate service records.
• Document vehicle usage, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs.
• Complete required vehicle inspections, including checks of exterior and trailer lights.
• Schedule and monitor preventive maintenance and other repairs.
• Determine whether repairs should be completed internally or by an outside provider based on cost and effectiveness.
• Recommend vehicle repairs or replacement when appropriate.
• Identify qualified vendors and service providers.
• Review and route vehicle maintenance and parts invoices for payment.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
