Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a Finance Analyst to support the operating and annual budgets for Facilities, Security, and Real Estate. The role emphasizes budget tracking, invoice coordination, and maintaining accurate financial records on-site in New York.

You will develop and maintain reports in Excel and Smartsheet, monitor expenses, and provide data extracts from Lawson and UKG to guide leadership decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 1+ years of relevant experience.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Track monthly financial and workforce metrics (FTEs, OTPS, overtime, recovery expenses, vacancies, invoices).
• Develop and maintain reports and trackers in Excel, Smartsheet, and related tools (budget-to-actual).
• Monitor expenses and identify budget variances for leadership review.
• Support monthly/quarterly financial reporting, accruals, reconciliations, and GL close activities.
• Extract and validate data from Lawson and UKG to support reporting.
• Support accounts payable and invoice processing (coding, documentation, aging).
• Coordinate salary recovery tracking for recoverable labor expenses.
• Assist with staffing reports and workforce status reporting.
• Assist operating and annual budget processes with data collection and tracking.
• Maintain standardized financial workflows and documentation.
