Job summary

Honda Development & Manufacturing of America, LLC in Ohio is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and efficiency improvements on building systems and equipment to ensure reliable operations.

The role requires a 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience, knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, and the ability to work shifts including weekends and overtime.

Qualifications

• Completion of 2 year technical degree or equivalent equipment service experience.
• Desirable: 3 years of experience in a Facilities environment.
• Willing to consider well qualified entry level candidates.
• Working knowledge of Facilities low and medium voltage electrical equipment and Building Management Systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment such as HVAC, Refrigeration, Air Compressors, Boilers, Pumps.

Responsibilities

• Complete preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and building controls).
• Perform daily work orders and communicate follow-ups.
• Evaluate and recommend equipment improvements to increase availability and yield.
• Support maintenance programs to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Provide mentorship and teamwork to share knowledge and expertise.
• Expand technical expertise through Honda training programs and on-the-job learning.
• Drive new ideas and technologies to improve operations and competitiveness.
