Job summary
Honda Development and Manufacturing of America, LLC is seeking an Equipment Service Technician for the 2nd Shift/B shift in a manufacturing setting. The role focuses on maintaining equipment, troubleshooting downtime, and repairing automation systems to support production efficiency.
Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and may hold a 2-year degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial fields.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Two-year degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial or equivalent equipment maintenance experience.
- Minimum 3 months of relevant maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word).
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair robots, servo and electrical systems, automated machinery and mechanical systems.
- Interpret electrical, mechanical and hydraulic prints.
- Complete work orders and support production lines for efficiency.
- Document daily activity in the Equipment Management System (Maximo).
- Support weekend preventive maintenance, repairs, plant shutdowns, and new equipment installations.
