Retirement Unlimited seeks an Environmental Services Director to oversee maintenance, housekeeping, and laundry operations across the community. You will direct, train, and supervise staff, manage vendor relationships, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires ensuring reliable operation of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems while maintaining a clean, healthy living environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental services or facilities management preferred.
• Proven ability to supervise multiple staff and contractors.
• Strong budgeting and scheduling skills.
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements for facilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair building structures and cleanliness to provide a safe, healthy environment.
• Direct, train, and supervise housekeeping and maintenance staff and oversee contractors.
• Ensure operation of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC equipment.
• Develop and manage budgets for maintenance, housekeeping and laundry.
• Create and follow daily, weekly, and annual cleaning schedules.
• Oversee vendor contracts, safety, regulatory compliance, and inspections.
• Manage community vehicles and maintenance records; recommend upgrades as needed.
• Ensure preventive maintenance programs are followed across equipment.
