Job summary

Certus Healthcare seeks an Environmental Services Manager to oversee housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance staff, ensuring a clean, sanitized facility. The role focuses on safety, preventive maintenance, and regulatory compliance to support the facility's goals.

The manager will develop manuals, manage budgets, supervise staff, and coordinate with regulatory bodies. Strong communication and leadership are essential for maintaining safe, efficient operations across all departments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• At least three years' supervisory experience in a similar role.
• Healthcare environment experience a plus, with knowledge of safety and infection control practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain environmental services operation manuals (security, emergency preparedness, preventive maintenance, warranties, infection control, MSDS).
• Monitor budget and purchase departmental supplies for maintenance, housekeeping, and laundry.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and periodic inspections of life safety systems.
• Supervise inspections, maintenance, and outside contractors as needed.
• Communicate with other departments and regulatory officials on safety and sanitation matters.
