Johns Hopkins Medicine in Baltimore, MD is seeking an Engineering/Maintenance Technician I to oversee the rollout of the hospital's Real Time Location System (RTLS) across thousands of assets. You will manage deployment, troubleshoot the tracking system, and document operational data to support system improvements.
The role requires a high school diploma and 5 years of related experience; you will lead installations and upgrades to facilities systems while collaborating with maintenance teams.
This position is overseeing the deployment of the hospital's new Real Time Location System (RTLS), which includes 1000s of hospital assessts. The incumbent will responsible for the roll out of the new tracking equipment, troubleshooting the tracking system, and other responsibilities. The Engineering/Maintenance Technician I investigates building systems and documents operational data. Prepares recommendations for system improvements, maintenance programs and evaluations. Performs as technical leader on installations and upgrades to Facilities systems.

Hours: Full time (40 hours), Day Shift, Weekdays

Salary Range: Minimum 28.90/hour - Maximum 47.71/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
