Job summary
La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club, Inc. seeks a skilled maintenance engineer to repair and maintain general plumbing, electrical, carpentry and mechanical equipment across our oceanfront properties in La Jolla.
The role requires reading blueprints, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring safety of electrical systems, fire/life safety, and guest room facilities. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities along California’s coastline.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or equivalent experience.
- Must have valid California driver’s license and a CFC recovery certificate.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance manuals.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to high standards.
- Read blueprints and schematics to guide repairs and installations.
- Maintain building electrical systems safely and efficiently, following codes.
- Service guest rooms and public areas with repairs to furniture, lighting and fixtures.
- Operate power tools safely and follow safety protocols.
