Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Universal CFC certification is preferred. Certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions.
• A minimum of 1 year of hands-on HVAC controls and building automation systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, and control systems to keep facilities up to standards.
• Comply with codes, regulations, and safety directives related to building operations.
• Maintain an energy management program and ensure systems operate efficiently.
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs and perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Follow policies for hazardous materials storage and safe workplace practices.
• Review system inspections to ensure operation meets design specifications and environmental conditions.
