Job summary

Remedy Medical Properties, a healthcare real estate company, is seeking a Facilities Engineer to operate, maintain, and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems across our properties. You will coordinate vendor work, supervise contractors, and serve as the primary contact for tenants.

Candidates should have 5+ years in facilities management, be able to multitask, and be proficient with Microsoft software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct or related experience in facilities maintenance or engineering.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic CMMS software.
• Experience coordinating vendor work and supervising contractors.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, maintain, service and repair HVAC, electrical, lighting, plumbing, life safety and ancillary systems.
• Coordinate and oversee outsourced/vendor work from scope to completion.
• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for tenants and maintain open communication.
• Ensure tools, equipment and literature are available and used properly.
• Respond to tenant service requests promptly and monitor building systems.
• Coordinate on-site construction activities and assist contractors in engineering areas.
• Maintain inventory of parts and supplies for operation of facilities.
• Ensure compliance with ADA, OSHA and related regulations.
• Keep mechanical and storage areas clean and orderly.
• Assist Property Manager with budgeting and bid processes.
• Interface with leasing team and prospective tenants as needed.
