Job summary

Remedy Medical Properties is seeking a facilities engineer to operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, electrical, lighting, plumbing and life-safety systems across our healthcare properties. You will ensure safe, compliant operation and respond promptly to tenant needs.

You will coordinate vendor work, oversee on-site construction, monitor building automation, manage inventory, and assist with budgeting and bids.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in facilities/maintenance or related field.
Able to multitask and work independently.
Physically capable to perform duties.
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
Experience in building operations is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Operate, inspect, maintain, service and repair HVAC, electrical, lighting, plumbing, life safety and related systems.
Coordinate and oversee outsourced/vendor work, review scope of service and schedule activities.
Serve as primary day-to-day contact for tenants and maintain open communication.
Ensure tools, test equipment, PPE and literature are available and used for tasks.
Respond to tenant service requests promptly and monitor building automation for comfort and efficiency.
Coordinate on-site construction activities and participate in meetings with contractors.
Maintain inventory of parts and supplies, ensuring cost-effective purchasing.
Ensure compliance with ADA, OSHA and other regulations.
Assist Property Manager with budgeting and securing bids.
Interface with leasing team and prospective tenants as needed.
