Job summary

Lilly is seeking a Facilities Engineer to support a new manufacturing facility in Goochland County, Virginia. The role focuses on maintenance within the IFM contract, coordinating external contractors, and delivering engineering leadership for facility management programs.

The candidate will lead asset management initiatives, drive cost-reduction opportunities, and ensure compliance with corporate standards and regulatory guidelines across site operations.

Qualifications

• Project management experience is preferred.
• LEED certification is preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical building services is required.
• Experience owning a facility management program is desired.
• Limited travel (<10%) is expected.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Integrated Facility Management contract for facility management and maintenance.
• Oversee external contractors to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical leadership in facility maintenance.
• Develop technical systems and best practices for the facility program.
• Identify failure modes and develop mitigation within the IFM maintenance program.
• Ensure site compliance with corporate standards for facility management.
• Coordinate governance for IFM outsourced services.
• Develop and maintain KPIs for facility services.
• Review building systems inspections to meet design and environmental specs.
