Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Building Engineer to maintain and repair building systems at a large commercial facility in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on safety, efficiency, and operational readiness, with hands-on problem solving and coordination with campus teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of related experience.
• Universal CFC certification preferred, licensing as required by local/state jurisdictions.
• Prior shift management or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, and HVAC systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and energy efficiency standards.
• Support preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and inspections on site.
• Assist with implementing a preventive maintenance program to extend equipment life.
