Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Building Engineer to maintain mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire safety and HVAC systems at a large commercial facility. You will support preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and inspections onsite while ensuring safety and energy efficiency.

You will apply technical knowledge, mentor others, and follow CBRE RISE values to foster collaboration and excellence in operations.

Qualifications

• High school or trade school diploma required with 4–5 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Prior CMMS experience preferred and familiar with maintenance workflows.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Support preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and inspections at a large commercial facility.
• Follow safety codes, energy standards, and CBRE policies at all times.
• Assist with documentation and reporting for building operations and compliance.
• Collaborate with teams and mentors across disciplines to ensure reliable operations.
