Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Team Lead for the Facilities Electrical Projects Team to shape CAPEX roadmaps and manage high-impact electrical infrastructure initiatives. The role requires leading engineers, guiding design-to-construction of CIP/R&M projects, and ensuring safety, compliance, and reliability across 24/7 facilities.

Ideal candidates hold a PE license (Texas preferred) with 5+ years in industrial electrical design, and expertise in MV/LV systems, arc-flash analysis, and

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of electrical design and project experience in an industrial setting.
• Experience leading complex projects across design and construction.
• Knowledge of MV/LV power systems and protection schemes.
• Proficiency with electrical modeling software (ETAP, SKM).
• PE licensure preferred; PMP certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and guidance to electrical project engineers.
• Lead design-to-construction lifecycle for CIP and RM projects.
• Oversee arc-flash analysis and site-wide electrical safety compliance.
• Coordinate with vendors, PMs, field technicians and stakeholders.
• Finalize QA/QC on engineering deliverables and proposals.
