Job summary

Ativo Senior Living of Santa Clarita seeks a seasoned facilities leader to oversee daily operation and strategic direction of the maintenance division for a senior living community. You will manage budgets, coordinate upgrades, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

The role requires 7–10 years of maintenance management experience, preferably in healthcare or residential facilities, with certifications such as CFM or CHFM highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• Certifications such as CFM or CHFM are highly desirable.
• 7–10 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in healthcare or residential facilities.
• Knowledge of building systems, safety codes, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning and direct maintenance of the physical infrastructure.
• Manage the maintenance department and promote efficient operation of systems and grounds.
• Oversee upgrades, renovations, and repairs within budget and schedule.
• Collaborate with leadership on long-term maintenance strategies and preventative plans.
• Provide guidance to maintenance managers and technicians for team development.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, regulations, and codes.
• Prepare and oversee the maintenance budget and resource allocation.
• Coordinate emergency maintenance responses and document activities.
