Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Facility Manager/Director to oversee daily operations, maintenance, and safety at a single installation. You will lead a maintenance team, manage budgets, and partner with leadership to deliver high-quality resident services.

The role requires strong supervisory experience, HVAC knowledge, and proficiency with Yardi and MS Office. Local regulations and safety requirements are integral to daily decisions and long-term planning.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of supervisory experience in facilities management.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial management.
• Strong people leadership, customer relations and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, financial reporting, training and customer service for maintenance staff.
• Inspect properties to ensure upkeep of assets.
• Forecast maintenance needs and manage time for resident satisfaction and project goals.
• Attend LifeWorks events as needed.
• Develop a motivated team to meet operational goals.
• Collaborate with military executives and project team to improve maintenance initiatives.
• Monitor financial and operational findings and ensure budget adherence.
• Review and update maintenance policies and procedures for safety and service.
• Oversee safety, Hazmat and environmental plans at the installation.
