Job summary

Nashoba Park, managed by Senior Living Residences, seeks a Director of Building and Grounds to lead a caring maintenance team dedicated to safety, cleanliness and resident comfort in a senior living environment.

This role oversees HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting and preventive maintenance, with a focus on timely turnovers and budget adherence, while promoting the company’s values and resident-centered care.

Qualifications

Experience in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting, and preventative maintenance.
Knowledge of safety regulations, codes, and budget management.
Ability to lead and supervise staff effectively.

Responsibilities

Perform hands-on maintenance and direct technicians in repairs.
Manage service requests, maintain landscaping, and keep building clean.
Plan ongoing and preventive maintenance for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and more.
Schedule repairs and routine maintenance of equipment and vehicles, including the community van.
Oversee turnovers and refurbishments with rapid completion.
Monitor department budget and supervise housekeeping/laundry staff.
