As the Facilities Director, you will be responsible for the seamless operation of all service lines within our facility, acting as the primary contact for our education client. You will lead Plant Operations Maintenance, Custodial Services, and Grounds Maintenance departments, ensuring efficient, safe operations aligned with client expectations and fostering an environment conducive to learning and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and recommend department operating budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints while optimizing operational efficiency
• Coordinate operations and maintenance activities with other departments to streamline workflows and enhance productivity
• Engage with clients to maintain communication and ensure satisfaction
• Lead and coordinate all departmental functions, fostering accountability and excellence
• Establish and implement policies and procedures, ensuring regulatory compliance
• Encourage staff creativity and innovation, empowering contributions toward continuous improvement
• Demonstrate leadership in meeting performance goals and exceeding expectations
• Provide training and development opportunities for staff growth
• Conduct regular inspections to uphold quality and identify improvements
• Assist in developing and revising annual budgets aligned with organizational goals
• Maintain communication with administration, clients, and vendors to address business needs
• Ensure strategic objectives are achieved, driving operational excellence and client satisfaction
• Maintain company assets in optimal condition, maximizing their lifespan and functionality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Facilities Management supporting education accounts preferred
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Experience with central plant operations and maintenance
• Experience managing P&L accounts
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Ability to meet goals and objectives
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
