Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM, seeks a Facilities Technologist to join the Integrated Space Solutions team. You will support data quality, reconciliations, and floorplan generation for space management across multiple facilities.

The role requires Excel proficiency and a DOE Q clearance, with a mix of on-site and some off-site work. Applicants should be prepared for field validations and coordination of space moves and inventories.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus 3+ years in space management or equivalent combination.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active DOE Q-level security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assists in space data quality, enhancements and reconciliations.
• Generate floorplans from space database for walk-through validations.
• Utilize Excel to create reports and merge data for analysis and reconciliation.
• Manage a variety of tasks from in-field walks to detailed data analysis.
• Perform regular field verifications of space against database records.
• Coordinate setup, moves, space allocation changes, and decommissioning of touchdown spaces.
• Organize procurement of computers, peripherals and office supplies and track inventory.
