Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories’ Corporate Storage team seeks a Logistics Technologist to support logistics activities and collaborate with specialists to resolve project issues on-site in Albuquerque, NM. The role involves handling work orders, coordinating with multiple teams, and ensuring successful shipments and service orders.

The position requires DOE Q security clearance, NCS training, Move-it experience, and the ability to work onsite with a focus on process improvement and accurate

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus three or more years of directly related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in Move-it tickets software and/or related IT ticketing system.
• Must have Nuclear Criticality Safety (NCS) training.
• Active DOE Q-level security clearance or equivalent (e.g., DOD Top Secret).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Logistics Technical Professionals and team leads to resolve project issues.
• Enter work order information, supporting documentation, and close-out data into inventory systems accurately.
• Notify Facilities teams of planned logistics activities and coordinate scheduling conflicts.
• Develop executable work processes with business and logistics staff to ensure successful shipments and service orders.
• Support multiple customers and staff concurrently through project and service execution.
• Assess completeness of work orders from cradle to grave for successful close-out.
• Lead improvement efforts for a high volume of tickets and storage per Sandia requirements.
