Job summary

CSL is seeking a full-time custodian to maintain a clean and orderly collection center. Responsibilities include cleaning break rooms, offices, and donor areas, vacuuming, trash removal, and daily window cleaning.

You will perform minor maintenance tasks, monitor exterior areas, and assist with materials handling while ensuring adherence to HSE/OSHA policies. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 months of custodial experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow basic instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean tables, chairs, cabinets, counters and appliances in break room and donor waiting area.
• Vacuum carpets, dust furniture and remove trash.
• Clean windows and doors daily.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks (lighting, ceiling tiles, painting, plumbing, carpentry).
• Monitor grounds and parking lots, pick up litter.
• Assist in recycling and repackaging shipping materials.
• Inspect and clean restrooms; replace supplies.
• Receive supplies from vendors and move between storage and release/quarantine areas.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and follow HSE/OSHA policies; promote safety.
• Maintain confidentiality of personnel, donor and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas; bilingual skills may be required.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
