Job summary

CSL is seeking a full-time Custodian at our Philadelphia center. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly donor center environment, including break rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, and common spaces.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, surfaces, and restrooms; restocking supplies; reporting maintenance needs; following all HSE/OSHA policies; and assisting with light custodial tasks as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum three months custodial experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow oral/written instructions.
• Ability to see and speak with customers and observe equipment operation.
• Capable of standing and walking up to 100% of time.
• Able to lift/carry up to 40 pounds.
• Fast-paced environment with interruptions.
• Willing to work overtime to support operations.
• Must wear PPE as required.
• Occasional cross-training in other areas.
• Bilingual skills may be required.
• Strict adherence to health and safety policies.
• Confidentiality of donor and center information.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of break rooms, waiting areas, and workspaces.
• Vacuum carpets, dust surfaces, and empty trash.
• Clean windows and doors daily.
• Change light bulbs, paint, and minor repairs as needed.
• Monitor grounds and parking lots; pick up litter.
• Assist in recycling and repackaging of shipping materials.
