Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a Custodian to maintain a clean, safe collection center environment and support daily operations. Responsibilities include cleaning, basic maintenance, waste handling, and restocking supplies, with adherence to HSE/OSHA guidelines.

The role may involve cross-training in other areas and potential bilingual requirements, with overtime to meet center needs. A high school diploma or equivalent is required and prior custodial experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in custodial tasks or equivalent.
• Ability to understand, remember and apply oral and written instructions.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Cleans tables, chairs, cabinets, counters and appliances in break room and donor waiting area.
• Vacuums carpets, dusts furniture and removes trash.
• Cleans windows and doors daily.
• Performs minor maintenance like changing bulbs, painting, basic plumbing and carpentry tasks.
• Monitors grounds and parking lots and picks up litter.
• Assists in recycling and repackaging shipping materials.
• Inspects and cleans restrooms, replaces paper and soap supplies.
• Receives supplies and moves them to storage and quarantined areas.
• Ensures supply availability and follows HSE/OSHA policies for safety.
• Maintains confidentiality of personnel and donor information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas to meet business needs.
• Bilingual skills may be required at organization's discretion.
