Job summary

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Pocatello ID seeks a Custodian 2 (Full time) to keep temple spaces clean, safe, and orderly. You will operate cleaning equipment, handle chemicals safely, and support occasional grounds or events.

Requirements include ability to lift heavy objects, read and follow instructions, and work as part of a team. On-call duties may apply; strict safety and quality standards are expected.

Qualifications

• Must certify in the use of cleaning equipment and machines.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb routinely and 100 lb occasionally.
• Understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Able to work with cleaners and chemicals safely.
• Communicate effectively with team and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices, restrooms, public areas and fixtures as instructed.
• Operate vacuums, polishers, buffers, scrubbers, and power washers.
• Operate balers, shredders, aerial lifts, and forklifts.
• Window and building exterior cleaning; carpet and upholstery care.
• Restock supplies and dispose of trash; report safety issues.
• May assist with grounds, events, or executive cleaning.
• On call responsibilities may be required; maintain professional conduct.
