Job summary

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Bountiful, UT is seeking a Temple Facilities Assistant 2 (Full-Time) to support the operation and maintenance of temple facilities on-site. The role focuses on ensuring safe, clean, and compliant environments for temple patrons and staff.

Responsibilities include maintaining HVAC, water treatment, electrical and mechanical systems, and assisting with budget planning and facility management tasks.

Qualifications

• Two years of technical training in a skilled trade.
• Four years of experience in that trade.
• Two years experience in physical plant operation.
• Experience in electrical, electronics, plumbing, welding, carpentry, general construction, blueprint reading, mechanics, or floor coverings.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Basic computer skills, and licenses as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate temple HVAC and water treatment systems to meet standards.
• Service and repair laundry, kitchen, baptismal font, and related equipment.
• Maintain electrical systems, lighting, and control systems.
• Repair and adjust temple mechanical/electrical systems; participate in budget process and FMAT tasks.
